Picking a good nail polish is a science. A relatively simple science, the kind most of us prefer. This is a formula you can utilize, to get the most of your polish purchases. Considering that if you're like most polish junkies; you tend to change polish as often as you change your outfits. Each season offers a different variety of nail polish colors. If you happen to have fun changing out your color hues with each and every time of year and increasing your assortment consistently, you might want to use some money saving techniques. Just like the pros, make sure you have the proper tools ready at hand. Set out your selected nail polish, base and top coat bottles along with nail file, polish remover, cuticle clipper, orange stick, Q-tips, cotton balls and toe spacers. File each nail individually to smooth any uneven surfaces and edges.

The chemicals above are just some of the ingredients that go into nail polish and if they are bad for us there is no question that they are bad for the environment. Perhaps the worst part of nail polish is that overpowering aroma, a scent that is so strong using it in an enclosed space is a headache in the making. If you have a particularly tough stain on your carpet from the polish spill you can also try applying hydrogen peroxide in an eye dropper to the stain, blotting just as you did with the nail polish remover.
