If you are looking for a way to lose weight where you would not be bored, where you can increase your stamina, and where you can engage your whole body in the exercise, then you might want to consider jogging. Jogging is also a good exercise if you want to maintain your figure and improve your endurance.

I remember as a kid when jogging first came into vogue. It was the thing to do. And of course, the more popular it became, the more gadgets that people had to have for their jogging routine, including the outfits, the walkmans, you name it. Research has shown that physical activities like jogging can reduce your risk of getting CHD. Jogging helps to make your heart stronger. When a heart is strong, it can pump blood at a much more effective rate. Strong blood flow keeps your arteries healthy and clear.

I wanted to lose body fat all over but I was most concerned about my love handles. I also knew that I would enjoy jogging in the park along the riverbank. Pleasant surroundings is a definite bonus and incentive to keep going as are the occasions when I happen to meet a girl jogging and swap weight loss notes.

Jogging is a weight bearing exercise which places stress on your skeleton. This stimulates an increase in bone mineral density which leads to stronger, thicker bones. Increased bone mineral density lowers your chances of developing osteoporosis and means your bones are less likely to bend, break and fracture. Jogging is probably the cheapest yet most effective forms of exercise that you can do.


All you need is a good pair of running shoes and you're all set. When you regularly jog in the morning, you can probably bring along with you your portable media player and listen to your favorite music. When you use jogging as a regular workout activity, it will reduce the risks of your having a heart attack.

Jogging is inexpensive only thing you need to buy to get started is a pair of good running shoes and some comfortable clothes. It is also very convinient jog jst about anywhere or anytime. It can also be a very social, it is a great way to meet other people. So other than the benefits of jogging with your body getting physically revved up and developing flexibility and endurance, you'd feel "happy", too. That is, feeling a sense of buoyancy and optimism. And this feeling can be "addictive", but definitely in a good way.

Studies estimate that you'll burn 35-50 calories per day for each pound of muscle you add to your body. So an extra five pounds of muscle will burn between 175-250 calories a day or it'll burn an extra pound of fat every two weeks to twenty days. It pays to build muscle! Jogging is one of the best ways to relieve mental stress and the physical tension that builds up in your shoulders, neck, and back.
